• Healthcare Setting: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel RN, On-Site\n
• Start Date: December 8, 2025\n
• End Date: March 9, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights\n
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend\n
• On Call: No call required\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2130\n

\n\nPACU RN Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota\n
• Minimum 3 years of critical care nursing experience (ICU or Emergency Department required)\n
• Previous PACU nurse experience highly preferred\n
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system\n
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC required)\n
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations\n
• Trauma Level I hospital experience required\n
• At least 1 year of RN experience required\n

\n\nPACU Nurse Responsibilities\n

• Deliver holistic, patient-centered care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit\n
• Perform assessments, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation\n
• Develop and revise individualized care plans for patients recovering from anesthesia\n
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and delegate tasks as needed\n
• Care for neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults\n
• Participate in shared decision-making and continuous improvement of nursing practices\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Minnesota nursing standards\n
