SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented team member to join our finance team. This role is responsible for supporting treasury operations across multiple companies within our organization. The ideal candidate will manage daily cash activity, accounts receivable applications, electronic payments, and bank transactions while ensuring timely reconciliations and adherence to internal controls. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a solid understanding of cash and banking operations in a multi-entity environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily Cash Management:

• Record and reconcile cash activity across multiple bank accounts on a daily basis.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper funding of accounts.

Accounts Receivable:

• Apply incoming payments (checks, wires, ACH, credit cards) to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash and discrepancies in payment applications.

Bank Transactions & Payment Processing:

• Manage and reconcile electronic payments and deposits processed through the bank.
• Process credit card payments securely and efficiently.
• Void checks and process stop payments at the bank.
• Initiate and release ACH payments and outgoing wire transfers.

Reconciliations & Reporting:

• Reconcile bank statements and related general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treasury procedures and controls.

Other

• Support treasury-related projects and process improvements.
• Participate in ad-hoc tasks and audits as required.
• Rotate in a schedule to provide after-hours support for urgent credit card issues.
• All other duties as assigned.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in treasury, cash management, or accounts receivable.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
