Monthly/quarterly/annual small business services including:

• Transaction data input into accounting software
• General ledger account analysis
• Recording of closing entries
• Corresponding and cultivating relationships with clients throughout the year to provide guidance in compliance with GAAP and functionality of accounting software
• Preparation of periodic financial reports and ad hoc reports as requested

Preparation of required tax filings including:

• Quarterly/annual payroll returns 
• Monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax returns
• Annual W2 and 1099 filings

Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree in accounting
• 1-3 years of public accounting experience

Software Knowledge – Preferred but not mandatory:

• Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Checkpoint Tools for PPC
• QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online
• Lacerte Tax Software
• Remote access technology
