Yard Jockey / Spotter
Beardstown, IL | Full-Time | 40+ hours

Express Employment is looking for safe, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join a team in the Beardstown area as a Yard Jockey / Spotter .

What You'll Be Doing

• Move trailers (full or empty) to and from dock doors
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse management to coordinate trailer movements
• Perform daily yard checks and account for all trailers and their contents
• Keep the yard organized and safe for all pedestrians and co-workers
• Report any trailer or tractor issues to management
• Follow all safe driving practices
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience as a yard spotter or over-the-road truck driver
• Attention to detail and focus on safety
• Ability to sit, bend, climb, and lift for 8-12 hours per day
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Reliable attendance

Shifts: Days, Nights, Weekends - 40+ hours per week
