Job Title: Sewer – Manufacturing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sewer to join our production team. This role involves operating industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric and textile products according to patterns, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate sewing machines and related equipment to stitch fabric pieces together for manufactured goods.
Follow production patterns, templates, and instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Inspect materials and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Perform minor machine maintenance such as threading, tension adjustments, and replacing needles.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Follow all workplace safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
Previous sewing experience preferred (industrial sewing machine experience a plus).
Ability to read and follow patterns, instructions, and production guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production targets.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while operating sewing equipment.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 25 lbs.
Good vision and focus for detailed sewing work.
