Your opportunity includes:

The remainder of the time supporting Wendego’s other clients remotely

Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Provide hands‐on technical support at the primary San Diego customer site (50–100% time)
Support Wendego’s broader client base remotely on other days
Communicate proactively with end users and managers about incident status, changes, and maintenance
Document solutions in our knowledge base and train users locally and remotely
Design, implement, and support Microsoft (Windows Server, Azure, O365), backup (Veeam), virtualization (Hyper‐V, VMware), and networking (WAN/LAN, firewalls, TCP/IP) solutions
Perform OS/app installations, help with escalation-level projects, and lift up to 25 lbs
Participate in on-call rotation and shift planning to match Pacific Time needs
Collaborate with teammates to share knowledge and achieve team goals
What You Bring (Required)
5+ years in helpdesk, systems administration, or technical support
Solid knowledge of Windows 11, Server 2016+, macOS, Office, M365, VPNs, and Wi‐Fi troubleshooting
Must own an operational vehicle with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Reside in San Diego, CA (Pacific Time schedule alignment)
Nice to Have:
MSP background, tech certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, CompTIA, etc.)
Experience with HaloPSA, NinjaRMM, Meraki, Fortinet, SentinelOne, Veeam, PowerShell scripting
ITIL training, cloud exposure (Azure/AWS), and stronger networking fundamentals

$75K–$80K annual salary
