Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team and help expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in bulk material handling systems, a passion for sales, and the ability to build relationships with customers across diverse industries. This role will focus on generating new business, identifying growth opportunities, and driving sales for custom engineered systems designed for processing and packaging bulk materials.
Key Responsibilities :
· Sales Growth : Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the bulk material handling market.
· Technical Expertise : Provide technical expertise and support to potential customers by understanding their specific needs and offering customized solutions using Best Process Solutions' product offerings.
· Customer Engagement : Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
· Product Presentations & Proposals : Deliver compelling product presentations and create detailed budgets and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
· Collaborate with Engineering : Work closely with the engineering and project management teams to ensure customer specifications are met and projects are executed efficiently.
· Market Research : Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies within the bulk material handling industry to identify new opportunities.
· Sales Targets : Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
· Trade Shows & Conferences : Represent Best Process Solutions at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
· Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward sales goals in our CRM systems.
Qualifications :
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
· 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, ideally within the bulk material handling, packaging, or processing industries.
· Strong technical knowledge of bulk material handling systems, including conveyors, feeders, hoppers, blenders, and packaging equipment.
· Ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into customized, cost-effective solutions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
· Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring the successful execution of projects within defined timelines.
· Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
· Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and oversee installations.
