Job Description

StellarMettle is seeking a Sr. Estimator who will be responsible for creating cost estimates for new builds and roof replacement projects, while also managing the assigned projects to meet company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop accurate cost estimates and submit them for approval.
• Manage projects to ensure deadlines and budget objectives are achieved.
• Review and approve financial documents such as invoices, material slips, purchase orders, contracts, and proposals for adherence to company guidelines and project scopes.
• Address and resolve customer disputes and overdue accounts effectively.
• Maintain and protect company assets, including equipment, vehicles, and adherence to policies.
• Track labor and material expenses to control project costs.
• Prepare and process invoices for contract-based and time-and-material projects.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors throughout project phases, such as scheduling, quality control, change orders, and submittals.
• Respond professionally to client inquiries, concerns, and complaints.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience with roof estimation projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through on tasks.
• Experience with Estimating Edge software is a bonus.
