We're currently looking for Production Supervisor in our West Babylon area. The schedule will be from 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. OT required

Responsibilities:

• Oversees production activities by ensuring products are produced and released according to CDA, GMP, GDP or internal guidelines.
• Oversee and guides team including monitoring daily production and related production outputs.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
• Ensure availability of production equipment & systems, qualified, calibrated, and well-maintained in ready-to-use condition
• Hire, train, develop and manage performance of production staff including training new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
• Assist with customer complaints, investigations, troubleshooting production related issues and CAPAS.
• Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Review and approve procedures and documents related to production activities.
• Ensure adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely review and approval of manufacturing batch records.
• Ensure efficient movement of produced finished goods through the production floor to storage.

Requirements and skills:

• Experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma, Degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an advantage.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of working with manufacturing equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred but not requirement.
• History of managing teams of upwards of 15 people
