The Role
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing teams across a variety of projects. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is passionate about creativity, community, and small business success. You will gain hands-on experience in strategy, social media, copywriting, website updates, creative production, and content shoots, both in-office and on-site with clients.
This is not a remote position . The role requires you to work in our Fulton, Maryland office during agreed-upon daytime hours with a consistent weekly schedule. Dependability and punctuality are essential.
What You Will Do
Assist marketing teams with day-to-day tasks across strategy, social media, websites, design, email campaigns, advertising, and influencer marketing.
Provide support on client content shoots, including setup, organization, and coordination on-site.
Contribute to copywriting for social media, email, and marketing materials.
Help with basic website updates and asset organization.
Keep projects on track by managing timelines, checklists, and team needs.
Act as a positive, proactive team player, stepping in wherever needed.
Communicate openly and effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution.

In-office availability – Able to work 15–20 hours per week during regular business hours.
Dependable and punctual – Reliable transportation and consistent availability.
Quick learner – Able to pick up new processes, tools, and workflows with ease.
Tech-savvy – Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Dropbox. Familiarity with Asana and Slack is a plus.
Bonus experience – Previous marketing agency or hospitality/restaurant industry experience is highly valued.
Organized and proactive – Thrives on checklists and getting tasks done.
Friendly and outgoing – Enjoys building relationships with both the team and clients.
Passionate about small businesses and restaurants – Believes in the impact of our work.

Requirements
Must have reliable personal transportation.
Must be available in-office during set weekday hours (to be discussed).
Availability to work 15–20 hours per week.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency with basic computer and online tools (Google Workspace, Dropbox, social platforms).
Previous marketing experience is a plus but not required.
