Job Description
Proman Skilled Trades is hiring experience Journeyman Electricians in San Antonio, Tx. If you have a valid Journeyman Electrician TDLR license and a strong background in electrical work, we want to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to work in a commercial and/or new construction project.
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes. the Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and up to industry standards. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams
Run and bend conduit using hand and power tools
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a variety of systems
Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with TDLR and NEC regulations
Work safely and follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
Train and mentor apprentice electricians as needed
Collaborate with other trades and project teams to ensure job completion
Requirements:
Must have a valid Journeyman Electrician license
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in a commercial setting
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools and safety protocols
Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions
Reliable transportation and ability work full time hours with possibility of extended hours
