We are looking for a dedicated HR Recruiter to join our team on a contract basis in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in identifying, attracting, and hiring talented individuals who align with our mission to support individuals in recovery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a non-profit organization.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to source and attract candidates with relevant experience through community outreach, job boards, social media, and other channels.
• Build strong relationships with educational institutions, organizations with attention to detail, and community groups to establish a talent pipeline.
• Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and community gatherings to connect with potential candidates.
• Organize and manage quarterly job fairs to increase visibility and attract diverse talent.
• Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the organization's needs and share its values.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews to assess candidates’ skills and cultural fit.
• Manage the intern recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and transparency throughout the hiring process.
• Prepare offer letters and manage hiring documentation using the organization's applicant tracking system.• At least 1 year of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within a corporate or non-profit setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media platforms.
• Strong ability to conduct interviews and assess candidates based on skills and organizational fit.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems to manage recruitment workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and external partners.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously.
• Familiarity with recruiting interns and coordinating onboarding activities.
• Passion for supporting a mission-driven organization and aligning recruitment efforts with organizational values.
