EHS Manager Manager - Environmental, Health, and Safety

Dayton, OH

$100K - $120K

Position Overview:
The EHS Manager will oversee the environmental health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulations and promoting a safe work environment. This role is instrumental in developing policies and procedures that minimize risks and enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and risks in the workplace
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
• Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
• Prepare and maintain reports related to EHS performance and compliance metrics
• Manage environmental permitting and ensure ongoing compliance with environmental regulations
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding EHS matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or a similar role
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record in developing and implementing EHS programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) are a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation : 

$100K - $120K
