Role Overview :
The position oversees the early intervention program through the Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education. This includes oversight of administration of the CDHHE Network- including working relationships with Indiana Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI), Indiana First Steps (state staff and System Points of Entry - SPOEs), Indiana School for the Deaf, St Joseph Hearing + Speech, and other First Steps agencies. Oversight includes data collection and analysis, program decision-making, training considerations, and resource creation/dissemination as methods of ensuring positive child outcomes.
The position works closely with the Center Executive Director and as a member of the Center leadership team to ensure that infant-toddler programming is aligned with the Center Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles. A strong technical background, education (e.g. deaf education, special education, psychology, speech-language pathology), and/or experience in early intervention systems and services is needed for this position.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $75,010.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
