Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the University of Louisville in the search for a Director of Philanthropy, College of Arts & Sciences as the university builds towards a transformative comprehensive campaign.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Philanthropy, College of Arts & Sciences, the Director of Philanthropy, College of Arts & Sciences will play a key role individually and collectively in cultivating long-term relationships with donors who have the capacity to make transformative gifts, while leveraging the relationships and vision of university leaders to secure support for strategic university priorities and initiatives. The Director of Philanthropy will be a seasoned and exceptional team-oriented fundraising professional with a demonstrated successful history in securing high-dollar philanthropic gifts. The Director will provide creative and visionary leadership and coordination of fundraising endeavors for university-wide programs. They will convene campus partners and advise on the development of coordinated strategies aimed to maximize the lifetime engagement and support of a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects. They will help assemble key university members together with prospects around strategic funding priorities.

A bachelor's degree and at least four years of experience are required for this position. Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience as a fundraising leader in a complex, decentralized, comprehensive university environment, an advanced degree, and/or a professional fundraising certification are preferred. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 annually.
