The Digital Marketing Specialist drives revenue generation and market positioning through comprehensive digital strategy implementation, e-commerce optimization, and integrated marketing approaches. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, analytical skills, and the ability to execute sales, revenue management, and marketing initiatives to maximize hotel's online performance. The primary responsibility is to enhance property profitability through strategic digital presence, develop and execute effective online marketing campaigns, collaborate with cross functional teams, and achieve revenue, market share, and brand positioning goals in the digital space.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that integrate website management, distribution channels, and paid media efforts to achieve comprehensive revenue targets and online market share growth.
• Assist with website development, ongoing content updates, SEO optimization, and maintenance to ensure optimal online presence and user experience.
• Identify and implement website content and photography updates to maintain relevance and drive engagement with the property's target audience.
• Organize and maintain company digital assets.
• Analyze hotel-specific needs and create strategies for increasing revenue through SEO/SEM, display ads, pay-per-click, and email marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and manage relationships with third-party marketing agencies, online travel agencies (OTAs), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and brand websites to optimize distribution and maximize direct bookings.
• Oversee and maintain inventory controls for third-party internet companies and online travel agencies to ensure rate parity and availability.
• Identify and maintain online presence on travel booking sites and search engines, ensuring proper positioning on internet sites meets property objectives for copy, photos, and messaging.
• Manage listings on Local Search Engines including Google, Apple Maps, TripAdvisor, Expedia, and Booking.com for maximum visibility and accuracy.
• Administer email campaigns through third-party vendors and brand systems utilizing first-party data to drive engagement and conversions.
• Generate and communicate analytical reports on digital marketing performance to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Utilize booking pace reports and review relevant statistics to inform strategic adjustments to marketing initiatives.
• Partner with general manager, director of sales and commercial strategy support team to drive marketing strategies aligned with overall property goals and market positioning.
• Leverage brand e-commerce programs at the property and market level while ensuring efforts are integrated with selling efforts to generate profitable revenue.
• Assist with social media and reputation management agency communications to ensure relevant merchandising across paid media campaigns across multiple vendors.
• Track campaign metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance future initiatives and maximize return on investment.


Required Skills and Requisites:
• Experience with major hospitality brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, etc.) is required
• Advanced communication skills with the ability to articulate digital strategies across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, combining website management, online distribution, and integrated marketing approaches.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and strategic decision-making.
• Experience with digital marketing platforms and advanced analytics tools.
• Working knowledge of content management systems, Google Analytics, and digital asset management systems.
• Understanding of paid digital hotel strategy, website content management, and search engine optimization.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, dynamic environments while maintaining strategic focus.
• Advanced proficiency with technology systems, including:

-Google Analytics and reporting platforms
-Social media management tools
-Email marketing platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Hospitality Management, or related field
• 2-3 years of progressive experience in hospitality digital marketing
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue through digital channels and strategic planning
