Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 15 years of civil engineering experience, specifically in water, wastewater, hydrology, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing projects from start to finish independently, including client coordination, design, and supervision of project execution. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex civil projects, collaborate directly with clients and regulatory agencies, and help lead and mentor junior staff members in a growing team environment.

Responsibilities:

* Manage civil engineering projects from start to completion, including design, permitting, and client communications.
* Prepare engineering designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
* Conduct site investigations and analyze data, including maps, reports, tests, drawings, and specifications.
* Develop designs and oversee projects ranging from small-scale improvements to large infrastructure developments in a safe, sustainable, and timely manner.
* Provide technical advice and creative solutions to resolve project challenges and deficiencies.
* Meet with clients to obtain project requirements and maintain client communication throughout the project life cycle.
* Mentor and oversee junior engineering staff, monitor project progress, and compile project status reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

* *Proven working experience in civil engineering (15+ years required).*
* *5+ years experience in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.*
* Extensive experience in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approval processes.
* Strong project management and supervision skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to solve problems creatively and work independently.

Education & Licensure:

* *Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.*
* *Professional Engineer (PE) License required.*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
