As Chief of Agency Marketing, reporting to our Head of Agency Distribution, you will lead our efforts in MA and NHrecruiting, developing, and supporting top-tier independent agents while managing a team of high-performing Marketing Representatives. Responsibilities Strengthen and Expand Market Presence: Deepen Plymouth Rocks established footprint in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, while identifying strategic opportunities for growth and enhanced agent engagement. Drive Growth: Deliver profitable premium volume that exceeds business goals. Champion Technology: Own and evolve our Agent Interface platform. Build Relationships: Recruit and strengthen ties with high-performing independent agents. Lead with Purpose: Hire, develop, and inspire a dynamic agency marketing team. Outthink the Competition: Monitor competitive activity and respond with agility. Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with Product, Underwriting, and other departments to develop and execute strategies that support agent success, enhance product competitiveness, and drive profitable growth. Optimize Experience: Measure and improve agent and customer satisfaction. Raise the Bar: Lead continuous improvement across operations and agent support. Qualifications Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, or ARM are highly preferred. 8+ years of agency-facing sales experience in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 5+ years in a Director or Senior Leadership role with a P&C insurance carrier. Required Skills A reputation as a creative, results-driven marketing executive. Established relationships with top 100 insurance agencies and national accounts, with a proven ability to develop and grow high-value partnerships. A natural leader and mentor, skilled at building strong, collaborative teams. A sharp analytical mindset and the ability to dive into data, extract key insights, and turn analysis into clear, confident decisions. Proficiency in modern marketing toolsincluding social media, digital platforms, and CRM systems. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, especially Personal Lines. Expertise in underwriting, pricing, and agency relationship management.
