Assistant General Manager/Special Events Coordinator .

Restaurant Serenade

The following outlines the compensation structure:

• Salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 per year.
• Vacation of two (separate) paid weeks every year after six months of service.
• Five paid sick days each year.
• 50 percent of a Single Health Insurance valued at approximately between $4,500 to $7,000 per year after 90 days of service .
• Profit Sharing Plan participation after 90 days of service.
• 2% commission on all events booked. Average payout of $10,000 a year.

Duties:

• Manage the FOH staff before, during, and after service
• Helping to hire FOH staff when necessary
• Train FOH Staff with regards to sales techniques to better increase revenue
• Helping with hosting and other service floor duties during service
• Closing the restaurant after evening service
• Opening, running, and closing the restaurant after evening service
• Handle the administration of all Special Events to include initial contact, contracting, working with customers on all details for event, sharing all specific event details with General Manager and FOH staff, completing a Special Events Sheet for each week for Chef on Fridays listing the menus for the following week, typing menus, following up with customers after event.
• Working with Ownership regarding the generation of new event business.
• Working with the General Manager on administrative tasks such as staff scheduling and assignments, menu changes, etc.
• Completing smallware inventory at the end of each month

Salary/Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 per year plus commission
