Colorado Public Radio is seeking an Accounting Specialist.
We are not seeking to utilize any hiring agencies to fill this role at this time.
About the Position:
The Accounting Specialist will support CPRs financial health by handling accounts receivable and payable, as well as other day-to-day accounting tasks.
You will be responsible for identifying and processing incoming donations and sponsor payments, making check deposits, checking a dedicated AR email, and preparing monthly billing for sponsorship. You may also support accounts payable functions by preparing payment data in the accounting system, checking a dedicated AP email, researching payments, investigating variances or discrepancies, and processing weekly vendor payments. You will assist employees with company credit card questions and issues, and may assist with bi-weekly payroll, provide training, and respond to general staff inquiries.
This is not a remote position. The Accounting Specialist is expected to reside in the Denver Metro area upon starting.
